This past Saturday, April 6th, 2024 the sun shined brightly over San Onofre Beach Club as the Bastards Canteen team catered a heartwarming 20 year reunion for the brave Marines and Corpsman of the 2/4 Battle of Ramadi. Over 1000+ combat Veterans, their families, and Gold Star families were treated to a day filled with camaraderie made possible by the efforts of the Warrior Reunion Foundation going above and beyond to ensure that this special gathering was nothing short of unforgettable.

From the moment attendees arrived, they were greeted with warmth and hospitality, reminiscent of the brotherhood forged on the battlefield. The aroma of mouthwatering Beef and Chicken Fajitas filled the air, courtesy of Bastards Canteen’s Chef Tony who prepared a feast fit for heroes. As the day unfolded, laughter and stories flowed freely, swapped Ramadi tales finding solace and understanding in the company of those who walked the same path.

For many, it was a chance to reconnect with old comrades, to reminisce about days gone by, and to honor the fallen who made the ultimate sacrifice. Warrior Reunion Foundation, a beacon of support for military veterans, played a pivotal role in bringing this reunion to fruition. Through their unwavering dedication and tireless advocacy, they ensured that every Marine Vet in attendance felt valued and appreciated. Their commitment to healing the wounds of war, both seen and unseen, serves as a beacon of hope for those who have served and sacrificed for their country.

In a world often fraught with division and discord, events like these serve as a powerful reminder of the unbreakable spirit of Marines and the enduring bonds of brotherhood. In the end, the 2/4 Battle of Ramadi 20 Year Reunion at San Onofre Beach Club was more than just a gathering; it was a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of the Magnificent Bastards community.
